Tips:

  • Choose the right fish. Firm-fleshed fish like cod, halibut, and salmon work best for baking. Avoid delicate fish like tilapia and flounder, as they tend to fall apart during baking.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the final dish will be. Look for fish that is firm and has a mild smell, and use fresh vegetables and herbs.
  • Season the fish well. Salt and pepper are essential, but you can also add other spices and herbs to taste. Some popular seasonings for baked fish include lemon zest, dill, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Don't overcook the fish. Fish is delicate and cooks quickly, so it's important to keep an eye on it while it's baking. The best way to tell if the fish is done is to insert a fork into the thickest part of the fillet. If the fork comes out easily, the fish is done.
  • Serve the fish immediately. Baked fish is best enjoyed immediately after it's cooked. Serve it with a simple side dish like roasted vegetables or rice.

Conclusion:

Baked fish and rice is a healthy and delicious meal that can be easily prepared at home. By following these tips, you can create a flavorful and satisfying dish that the whole family will enjoy.
