Steps:
- Remove ham from packaging.
- Lightly score ham in diagonal lines first one way, then crosswise, to form a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut any deeper than about a eighth of an inch. (You can score both sides if you like).
- Make a paste of brown sugar and mustard (I used Boar's Head Honey Mustard).
- Rub paste into ham on sides that have been lightly scored.
- Transfer to crock pot.
- Pour in two cans of coca cola into bottom of pot, not pouring directly over ham to wash away brown sugar paste.
- Cook on low 7-8 hours.

Tips:
- Choose the right ham: For best results, choose a fully cooked bone-in ham. A bone-in ham will be more flavorful and moist than a boneless ham.
- Trim the fat: Before cooking, remove any excess fat from the ham. This will help to reduce the amount of grease in the finished dish.
- Score the ham: Use a sharp knife to score the ham in a diamond pattern. This will help the glaze to penetrate the meat.
- Use a slow cooker liner: To make cleanup easier, use a slow cooker liner. This will prevent the ham from sticking to the pot.
- Add liquid to the slow cooker: Add 1 cup of water or broth to the slow cooker. This will help to keep the ham moist.
- Cook the ham on low heat: Cook the ham on low heat for 8-10 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Glaze the ham: During the last hour of cooking, glaze the ham with your favorite glaze. This will add flavor and shine to the finished dish.
Conclusion:
Cooking a ham in the crock pot is a simple and easy way to prepare a delicious meal. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a ham that is both flavorful and moist. So next time you're looking for a hassle-free way to cook ham, give this recipe a try.
