Steps:
- 1. Pre-heat oven to 425F Wash & slice squash, into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices. Cut out center with the seeds.
- 2. Put slices on a cookie sheet, (I line mine with foil) Do not let them touch each other.

Tips:
- Choose the right squash. Use a winter squash with a firm texture, such as butternut, acorn, or kabocha. These squashes will hold their shape better during baking.
- Cut the squash into rings of even thickness. This will help them cook evenly.
- Toss the squash rings with oil, salt, and pepper. This will help them brown and develop flavor.
- Bake the squash rings at a high temperature. This will help them caramelize and get crispy.
- Flip the squash rings halfway through baking. This will help them cook evenly on both sides.
- Serve the squash rings immediately. They are best when they are hot and crispy.
Conclusion:
Baked squash rings are a delicious and healthy side dish or snack. They are easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that is both flavorful and nutritious. So next time you are looking for a new way to enjoy squash, give baked squash rings a try.
