This creation also goes great with French toast, so make this as a special treat to your mom or any mom. Also a nice way to impress anyone with a special breakfast. I hope you enjoy as much as my mom did.

Tips:

  • When making the beignet dough, be sure not to overmix it, as this will result in tough beignets.
  • For the best results, use ripe bananas for the Bananas Foster filling.
  • Be careful not to overcook the Bananas Foster filling, as this will make it too thick and syrupy.
  • When making the Café Brûlot Crème Anglaise, be sure to use a heavy saucepan and stir constantly to prevent the custard from curdling.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark rum instead of light rum in the Café Brûlot Crème Anglaise.
