- Combine the wafer crumbs and butter; press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. pie plate. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack., In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat., Stir a small amount of hot filling into egg yolks; return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle boil; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat. Stir in the peanut butter, rum and vanilla., Slice bananas into the crust; pour filling over top. - 1. Melt the butter in saute pan, add bananas sliced and cook for 2 min.
- 2. Then add brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Cook additional 2 min.
- 3. Turn off heat and add rum. Stir and let cool. This will thicken as it cools.
- 4. Cream layer: Cook sugar, egg yolks, cornstarch and milk over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter stir till butter is melted and mixed in.
- 5. Pour cooled bananas into bottom of pre-baked 9" pie crust.
- 6. Top with warm cream mixture.
- 7. NOTE: Make meringue and put on top of cream and bake in 375 degree oven for 6 Minutes. ***OR*** NOTE: Top with whipped cream.

- 1. Combine the Nestle Dulce de Leche, Rum, half and half, cinnamon and vanilla and spread into the bottom of the pie crust
- 2. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Toast pecans for 5-8 minutes until golden and fragrant. Let cool for 5 min. and sprinkle over the filling that has been spread in the pie shell.
- 3. Peel bananas and cut into slices, Arrange banana slices over the nuts and filling layers.
- 4. Combine whipping cream with the brown sugar and vanilla. Whip until stiff peaks form. Spread over banana layer.
- 5. Break Heath candy bar into pieces and arrange over the whipped cream. Chill pie for at least one hour before serving. NOTE: The Dulce de Leche, rum and half and half, cinnamon and vanilla is like caramel when mixed all together :)
