Tips:

  • To ensure the pork chops are cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The chops should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can also check the doneness of the pork chops by cutting into one of them. The chops should be cooked through, with no pink in the center.
  • To make the barbecue sauce, you can use your favorite store-bought sauce or make your own. If you're making your own sauce, be sure to use a good quality ketchup and brown sugar.
  • If you want a thicker sauce, you can simmer it for a longer period of time. You can also add a cornstarch slurry to the sauce to thicken it.
  • Be sure to serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, green beans, or coleslaw.
