This is easy and good! While not necessarily a gourmet meal, it is an inexpensive, filling and enjoyable meal for a busy family. Add some onion powder or other spices for additional flavor if desired.

2 lbs stew meat
2 (1 ounce) envelopes brown gravy mix
1 (8 ounce) package noodles

Steps:

  • Place meat in slow-cooker.
  • Combine brown gravy mix with the amount of water suggested on package. Add to slow-cooker. Halfway through cooking time, check to see if gravy needs any additional water for desired thickness.
  • Right before beef is ready, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and gently mix into the beef and gravy. Serve.
  • 4 hours on HIGH - 8 hours on LOW.

3 (8 ounce) boxes beef broth or 3 (8 ounce) boxes beef stock
1 large beef roast
salt
pepper
garlic powder
egg noodles (Frozen or Kluski or even homemade)

Steps:

  • Start with putting Roast and broth or stock in crock pot and cook on high for 4-6 hours. Adding Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder to taste.
  • Once the beef has cooked add the noodles and let cook for another 30 min to 1 hour.
  • You can also add any veggies that you would like to this recipe and can shred the beef or cut into larger pieces for serving. I like to serve this over mashed potatoes.
