1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Drain half of the liquid out of the green beans.
  • Pour the green beans and the reserved half of the canning liquid into a skillet.
  • Add butter, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer, uncovered and stirring occasionally, until almost all of the cooking liquid has evaporated.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

4 Tablespoons butter
water (enough to cover your beans)
salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Pour your cans of green beans in your crock pot
  • Tear up your uncooked bacon into pieces and scatter in your crock pot
  • Cut up your butter into pats and place evenly around your crock pot
  • Add enough water to cover your beans by a half inch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon granules (i use wyler's)
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp seasoned salt (i use lawry's)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp dry minced onions

  • 1. NOTE: this recipe is intended for green beans from a can.
  • 2. Drain juice off green beans. Rinse beans well with cold water.
  • 3. Place beans in sauce pan and add just enough cold tap water to barely cover beans.
