BEST EVER BANANA PUDDING
This is totally different from "Southern" banana pudding that needs to be baked and has meringue on it. This is not baked! We've been making it for years, and it's always a hit!

Steps:
- 1. Soften cream cheese block to room temperature. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with condensed milk. Add pinch of vanilla, and instant pudding mixes. Set aside.
- 2. Slice bananas thinly, and drizzle with lemon juice to keep from turning brown.
- 3. In a small chilled bowl, beat whipping cream on high speed with sugar, until stiff peaks start to form. If you can't chill your bowl, put the carton of whipping cream in the freezer for about 10 minutes before this step.
- 4. Stir bananas into pudding mixture. Fold whipped cream into pudding.
- 5. In large serving bowl, put a layer of whole vanilla wafers on bottom. Add a layer of pudding. Crumble some vanilla wafers on top of pudding, and add whole wafers around the edges of the bowl, if desired. Continue pudding & wafer layers until pudding is gone. Add Cool Whip to the top. Chill & serve.
Tips:
- Choose ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your pudding will be.
- Use a variety of cookies: Don't be afraid to mix and match different types of cookies. This will add flavor and texture to your pudding.
- Don't overmix the pudding: Overmixing will make the pudding tough. Stir just until the ingredients are combined.
- Chill the pudding before serving: This will help the pudding to set and firm up.
- Serve the pudding with whipped cream or ice cream: This will make the pudding even more decadent and delicious.
Conclusion:
Banana pudding is a classic Southern dessert that is loved by people of all ages. It is easy to make, delicious, and can be customized to your own taste. Whether you like it classic or you like to add your own unique twist, banana pudding is a dessert that is sure to please everyone.
