MAKE-AHEAD GARLIC TOAST
I love this because I always have leftover bread and it goes to waste most of the time. The best part is that you can pull out as many pieces as you want and bake them straight from the freezer!

BEST GARLIC TOAST (QUICK & EASY!)

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Thinly slice the bread.
- Mince the garlic. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic with the olive oil, dried oregano, and salt. Use a brush to brush the mixture on both sides of each slice of bread and place them onto a baking sheet. Try to pick up some of the minced garlic with the brush, as it tends to sink to the bottom. (If the oil runs out, depending on your size of bread, just add a splash more to the bowl with the garlic.)
- Add a pinch of garlic powder to the top of each toast.
- Bake for 5 minutes until the crust is crisp but the inside is still soft. If desired, sprinkle with finely chopped Italian parsley. Enjoy immediately.

THE BEST GARLIC BREAD
We went very classic with this garlic bread recipe-lots of butter and lots of garlic loaded onto warm, soft and pillowy French bread. You could make a light meal by rounding it out with a crisp green salad. Or serve it our favorite way-alongside your favorite red-sauce pasta.

Steps:
- Arrange a rack in the center of oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.
- Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the butter is golden and the garlic is very fragrant, about 3 minutes.
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Liberally brush the crust with the garlic butter. Turn the bread cut-side up. Slice each loaf crosswise at 2-inch intervals without cutting all the way through, making "pull-apart" garlic bread. Liberally brush the cut sides of the bread with more garlic butter, spreading any remaining garlic evenly over top. You should use all the garlic butter. Carefully transfer the bread to a rimmed baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the loaves with the Parmesan and a pinch of salt and bake until the edges of the bread are a deep golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Top with the parsley. Serve warm.

Steps:
- Turn on broiler.
- Place bread in single layer on sheet of foil. (I use toasted oat bread or whole wheat).
- In small saucer or bowl, mix olive oil, margarine, Italian seasoning, garlic, and Parmesan.
- Brush or spoon mixture over each piece of bread.
- Sprinkle lightly with paprika.
- Place 4-6" under broiler.
- ***Watch Closely*** it can quickly go from browned to burnt if you're not paying attention. Cook 2-3 minutes & remove from oven when edges begin to brown.
- Sprinkle lightly with flaked sea salt (I use pink Australian salt, but if you don't have any, a light sprinkling of regular table salt will do).
- Serve!

EASY CHEESY GARLIC TOAST
This recipe is so ridiculously cheap and easy that it's almost embarrassing, but I'm posting it anyway for anyone who has picky little eaters or who is simply looking for a quick and easy fix. It is not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination but is just what it's title suggests: easy, cheesy & garlicy. My family said, "yum", and I hope yours does too!

Steps:
- Slice the bread into 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick slices. Butter each side generously with the softened butter. Lay buttered slices on a baking sheet and sprinkle the tops lightly with garlic salt. Place under the broiler in your oven until lightly toasted on top. Turn the slices over once the tops are toasted and toast the bottom side. Remove from the baking sheet when they are toasted on both sides. Serve and enjoy! Note: As you are toasting the bread, the slices will not toast evenly so watch closely and take the baking sheet out and turn the slices as they get done on one side. Remove them from the pan as they get toasted on both sides. They toast pretty quickly under the broiler once they get started so be sure to watch them closely so they do not burn.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Slice the baguette diagonally in 1/4-inch-thick slices. Depending on the size of the baguette, you should get 20 to 25 slices.
- Lay the slices in one layer on a sheet pan, brush each with olive oil, and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until browned and crisp. As soon as they're cool enough to handle, rub the top of the toasts with a cut side of the garlic. Serve at room temperature.
Tips:
- Use high-quality bread: A good loaf of bread will make all the difference in your garlic toast. Look for a bread that is crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.
- Don't skimp on the butter: Butter is what makes garlic toast so delicious. Use a good quality butter that is high in fat content. Softened butter is easier to spread, but you can also use cold butter and let it soften slightly before spreading.
- Use fresh garlic: Fresh garlic has a much better flavor than garlic powder or garlic salt. If you don't have fresh garlic, you can use a jar of minced garlic, but be sure to drain it well before using.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: When you're cooking garlic toast, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the bread from getting evenly toasted.
- Cook the garlic toast until it is golden brown: The garlic toast is done cooking when it is golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on it so that it doesn't burn.
Conclusion:
Garlic toast is a delicious and versatile side dish that can be served with a variety of meals. It's a great way to use up leftover bread, and it's also a perfect snack or appetizer. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make garlic toast that is sure to please everyone at your table.Follow these tips and you'll be able to make perfect garlic toast every time.
