Time 8h30m

Yield 4 to 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 14

4 shallots, quartered
1 large onion, cut into large dice
3 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
1 bunch cilantro, leaves picked
1 bunch parsley, leaves picked
6 bay leaves
12 black peppercorns
1 tablespoon dry oregano
1 cup white vinegar
4 cups salad oil
Salt
2 boneless chicken thighs, skin on
2 chicken legs, skin on
2 chicken breasts with frenched wing bone, skin on

Steps:

  • Puree shallots, onions, garlic, cilantro, parsley, bay leaves, peppercorns, and oregano with the white vinegar. Add oil, but do not puree, just mix. Season, to taste, with salt. Pour over chicken and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Grill for approximately 8 minutes on each side.

Tips:

  • When choosing a store-bought BBQ sauce, look for one that is thick and flavorful. Avoid sauces that are too thin or watery.
  • If you are making your own BBQ sauce, start with a good quality base, such as tomato sauce, ketchup, or mustard. Add in your favorite spices and seasonings to create a unique flavor.
  • Experiment with different cooking methods to find the one that you like best. BBQ sauce can be used to marinate meat, baste it during cooking, or simply serve it on the side.
  • Be creative with your BBQ sauce. Try using it as a dipping sauce for chicken wings or vegetables, or as a glaze for grilled salmon.
  • Store BBQ sauce in a cool, dark place. It will keep for up to 6 months.

Conclusion:

BBQ sauce is a versatile condiment that can be used to add flavor to a variety of dishes. Whether you are using a store-bought or homemade sauce, there are many ways to enjoy it. Experiment with different recipes and cooking methods to find the ones that you like best.
