Tips:

  • Use fresh pollock fillets. Fresh fish will have a mild, sweet flavor and will be firm to the touch. Avoid fillets that are discolored or have an off odor.
  • Don't overcook the fish. Pollock is a delicate fish that can easily be overcooked. Cook the fillets until they are just opaque in the center, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Use a light breading. A heavy breading will make the fish greasy and soggy. Use a light coating of flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  • Season the fish well. Pollock has a mild flavor, so it's important to season it well. Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Serve the fish with a lemon wedge. A lemon wedge adds a bright, acidic flavor that complements the fish perfectly.

Conclusion:

Breaded pollock fillets are a quick and easy meal that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The fish is mild and flaky, and the breading adds a crispy crunch. Serve the fillets with a lemon wedge and your favorite sides for a delicious and satisfying meal.
