COLD BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

One of the best flavor combos there is... a Buffalo chicken wing dipped in blue cheese dressing, all incorporated into a tasty dip. Incredibly easy and addicting, takes 15 minutes, and served cold as opposed to the slow cooker recipes. I always have it with tortilla chips. The bacon and jalapeno are great additions, but I suggest trying the original recipe first.

BACON BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

Bacon Buffalo Chicken Dip image

This Buffalo dip is must-have dish at our annual Fourth of July backyard barbecue! It celebrates America's love for Buffalo chicken dipped in heaps of creamy, tangy blue cheese dressing. And the bacon? That's just a bonus! My kids aren't big fans of blue cheese, but its strong flavor can be mellowed out by adding more mild cheddar in its place. -Katie O'Keeffe, Derry, New Hampshire

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

Buffalo Chicken Dip image

Sour cream and onion, spinach-artichoke, queso and fondue are warm dips you know and love, but we'd urge you to get to know Buffalo chicken dip a little better. It's a quick, one-pan snack, spicy from a heavy pour of hot sauce, luscious from sour cream and cream cheese and a little funky from the blue cheese. With just the right amount of acid and salt, it'll keep people coming back for more. It also plays well with beer, but that you already knew.

Time 1h50m

Yield 12

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 (5 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 ½ cups ranch dressing
1 cup sour cream
½ cup hot sauce
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add chicken, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Simmer until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 10 minutes.
