Tips for Making Bulk Venison Breakfast Sausage:

  • Choose the right venison. Use venison from a young, healthy deer for the best flavor. Avoid using meat from older animals, as it can be tough and gamey.
  • Trim the venison carefully. Remove all visible fat and connective tissue from the meat. This will help to ensure that the sausage is smooth and flavorful.
  • Grind the venison. Use a meat grinder with a fine grinding plate to grind the venison. This will help to ensure that the sausage is smooth and evenly textured.
  • Season the venison. Add your desired seasonings to the ground venison. Common seasonings include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and sage. You can also add other spices and herbs to taste.
  • Mix the venison and seasonings together thoroughly. Use your hands or a mixer to mix the venison and seasonings together until they are evenly combined.
  • Form the sausage into patties or links. You can use a sausage stuffer to form the sausage into links, or you can simply shape it into patties by hand.
  • Cook the sausage. Cook the sausage over medium heat until it is browned on all sides and cooked through. You can cook the sausage in a skillet, on a griddle, or in the oven.

Conclusion:

Making bulk venison breakfast sausage is a great way to use up venison and enjoy a delicious, healthy breakfast. By following these tips, you can make sure that your venison sausage turns out perfect every time.
