1/8 tsp tabasco sauce
SALAD
1 lb cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 c fresh basil, cut into thin strips

  • 4. Place greens on chilled plates and top with chilled salad mixture.

Tips:

  • Prep your ingredients: Wash and chop your fruits and vegetables, and cook your shrimp ahead of time. This will make assembly a breeze.
  • Use fresh, ripe ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your salad will taste. Look for fruits and vegetables that are brightly colored and free of blemishes.
  • Don't overcook your shrimp: Shrimp cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked shrimp will be tough and rubbery.
  • Make your dressing ahead of time: You can make the dressing for this salad up to 2 hours ahead of time. This will give the flavors time to meld.
  • Serve the salad immediately: This salad is best served immediately after it is made. The shrimp will start to toughen up if it sits for too long.

Conclusion:

This Caribbean shrimp and nectarine salad is a refreshing and flavorful dish that is perfect for a summer party or potluck. It is also a healthy and nutritious meal that is packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. If you are looking for a new and exciting salad to try, this is the one for you!
