Time 30m

5 c fresh baby spinach
6 clove garlic
1/4 c cashews (salted or unsalted)
4 tsp olive oil
1/2 c chicken broth or water
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 c parmesean or asiago cheese, grated

Steps:

Tips:

  • Fresh Ingredients: Use the freshest ingredients possible for the best flavor. Fresh basil, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese are essential for a delicious pesto.
  • Quality Olive Oil: Choose a high-quality extra-virgin olive oil for a rich and flavorful pesto. Avoid using low-quality or rancid oil.

  • Use a Food Processor: A food processor is the best tool for making pesto. It will quickly and easily blend all of the ingredients together until smooth.
  • Season to Taste: Be sure to taste the pesto before serving and adjust the seasoning as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to suit your taste.
