AWESOME CHEESY HOT CRAB DIP
I got this recipe from a Southern Living Magazine a couple of years ago. It was an instant favorite, and I get so many requests for the recipe that I figured I would make it easy on myself and just post it. I usually use more Old Bay, Tabasco, and scallions than it says, cause I like a little extra kick. It really is AWESOME, especially with crusty french bread.

Tips:
- Choose fresh ingredients. Fresh crab meat is essential for the best flavor. If you can't find fresh crab meat, frozen crab meat is a good substitute. Just thaw it completely before using.
- Use a good quality cheese. A sharp cheddar cheese will give the dip a rich and flavorful taste. You can also use a combination of cheeses, such as cheddar, Parmesan, and mozzarella.
- Don't overcook the dip. The crab meat should be cooked through, but not overcooked. Otherwise, it will become tough and chewy.
- Serve the dip immediately. Cheesy hot crab dip is best served immediately after it is made. If you need to make it ahead of time, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Just reheat it gently before serving.
Conclusion:
Cheesy hot crab dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. It's perfect for parties and gatherings, and it's always a crowd-pleaser. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a creamy, flavorful dip that everyone will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, give cheesy hot crab dip a try.
