Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen cherries and apricots for the best flavor. If using frozen, thaw them before using and drain off any excess liquid.
- Chop the cherries and apricots into small pieces so that they are evenly distributed throughout the bread.
- Use a light hand when mixing the batter. Overmixing will result in a tough, dense bread.
- Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking will result in a dry, crumbly bread.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving. This will help prevent it from crumbling.
- Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the bread for up to 2 months.
