Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen cherries: If using fresh cherries, be sure to pit them before adding them to the bread pudding. Frozen cherries can be used without thawing.
  • Use a variety of bread: You can use any type of bread for this recipe, but a combination of white and whole wheat bread works well. If the bread is too fresh, it will be difficult to cube and may make the bread pudding too soggy.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the bread pudding tough. Just mix until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the bread pudding in a water bath: This will help to prevent the bread pudding from drying out.
  • Serve the bread pudding warm or cold: Bread pudding can be served warm or cold. If you are serving it cold, be sure to let it chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Conclusion:

Cherry pie filling bread pudding is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its simple ingredients and classic flavor, this bread pudding is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you have some leftover bread, be sure to give this recipe a try.
