1 cup safflower oil
¼ cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons Italian seasoning

Steps:

  • Pound chicken breasts on a work surface to at least 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Whisk safflower oil, lemon juice, garlic, and Italian seasoning together in a bowl and pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours.

100 ml light soy sauce
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon clear honey
5 cm piece fresh ginger, Peeled and grated
1 medium onion, Peeled and grated
2 garlic cloves, Peeled and crushed
1 star anise, crushed
1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Mix the soy sauce and dry mustard powder together in a china or glass container to form a marinade. Add the honey, ginger, onion, garlic and star anise to the soy sauce mixture and leave to stand for at least 8 hours.
  • When complate, coat the chicken with the mariande and leave for at least 1 hour, turning occasionally and basting.
  • When ready to cook, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste over the chicken and grill or barbeque for 5-6 minutes.
  • While the chicken is cooking, put the rest of the marinade in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  • Turn the chicken over and cook for a further 5-6 minutes, basting with the marinade occasionally during the cooking.

¼ cup soy sauce (such as Kikkoman®)
¼ cup clover honey
1 bunch green onions, finely chopped, or to taste
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
cracked black pepper to taste
3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • Combine plum wine, soy sauce, honey, green onions, garlic, and black pepper in a resealable plastic bag; seal and massage bag to thoroughly mix marinade.
  • Using a fork or meat tenderizer, score chicken lightly without pounding. Add chicken to marinade, massage gently to coat, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

2 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
4-5 good splashes of worstershire sauce
2 pinch parsley flakes
1 pinch ground sage
1 pinch ground rosemary
1 pinch ground dried ginger
1 pinch ground dried cumin
1 clove (small clove) garlic, diced very fine
fresh ground black pepper
1/2 c apple cider

Steps:

  • 1. make sure any of your chilled ingredients are room temperature.
  • 2. Take all your ingredients and put together in a mixing bowl and stir well. Add chicken, cover and marinade from 1 to 4 hours or longer in your refrigerator.
  • 3. Cook using your desired method. Pan fry with a little butter and a little extra marinade in the pan, Grill using the marinade as a baste or bake using a little extra marinade. The choice is yours.
