Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling later on.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your dish will taste. Look for produce that is in season and avoid using any ingredients that are bruised or wilted.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the chicken and potatoes, make sure to give them enough space in the pan so that they can cook evenly. If you overcrowd the pan, the food will steam instead of fry and it will not be as crispy.
  • Cook the chicken until it is cooked through: Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Season your dish to taste: Once the dish is cooked, taste it and adjust the seasoning as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or herbs to suit your taste.

Conclusion:

This chicken, cherries, and potato hash is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is tender and juicy, the potatoes are crispy and flavorful, and the cherries add a sweet and tart flavor. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
