- Serve.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make a big difference in the taste of your pasta salad. Choose ripe tomatoes, crisp celery, and tender chicken.
- Cook the pasta al dente: Pasta that is cooked too soft will become mushy in the salad. Cook it according to the package directions, but test it a minute or two before the recommended time to make sure it is still slightly firm.
- Let the chicken cool before adding it to the salad: This will help to prevent the pasta from becoming soggy.
- Use a light dressing: A heavy dressing will weigh down the salad and make it less refreshing. Use a simple vinaigrette or a light mayonnaise-based dressing.
- Add some fresh herbs: Fresh herbs, such as basil, parsley, or chives, will brighten up the flavors of the salad.
- Serve the salad chilled: Pasta salad is best served cold, so make sure to chill it for at least an hour before serving.
