1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar, divided
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, beat oil and 1/2 cup sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into oil mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. , Shape dough into a 12x3-in. rectangle on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Cool on pan on a wire rack until firm, 10-12 minutes. , Transfer baked rectangle to a cutting board. Using a serrated knife, cut crosswise into 1-in. slices. Place on baking sheet, cut side down. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon sugar, Bake until golden brown, 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. ¾ cup potato starch
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar

Steps:

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  • Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl; set aside. Beat the eggs and sugar together in a mixing bowl until smooth. Whisk in the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and orange juice. Stir in the chocolate chips and the flour mixture until no dry lumps remain. Divide the cookie dough into two pieces. 2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3/4 cup oil (I use vegetable)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 ounces chocolate chips (or more if you like)

Steps:

  • Mix all of the above together except for the chocolate chips.
  • Then add chips and mix.
  • Separate dough into 2 balls.
  • Make 2 ovals on 2 separate cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Remove, lay cookie sheet on towel and slice through.
  • Return to oven for 10 more minutes.

1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
3/4 cup canola oil
2 to 3 tablespoons grated orange zest
2 teaspoons almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unblanched almonds, coarsely chopped
1 cup dark chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Whisk eggs and 1 cup sugar until well blended. Add oil, orange zest and extract; whisk until smooth. In another bowl, whisk flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into orange mixture. Stir in almonds and chocolate chips.
