Tips:

  • To achieve a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, make sure to not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough muffins.
  • For the best flavor and texture, use high-quality chocolate chips. Avoid using chips that contain artificial ingredients or fillers.
  • To ensure even baking, make sure to preheat your oven before placing the muffins in. This will help them rise evenly and prevent them from sinking in the middle.
  • Do not overfill the muffin cups. Fill them only about 2/3 full to allow for expansion during baking.
  • To test if the muffins are done, insert a toothpick into the center of one of them. If the toothpick comes out clean, the muffins are ready. If it comes out with batter or crumbs attached, bake them for a few more minutes.

Conclusion:

These chocolate chip sourdough muffins are sure to be a hit with your family and friends. They are easy to make and packed with flavor. Plus, they are a great way to use up any leftover sourdough starter. So next time you are in the mood for something sweet and delicious, give these muffins a try!
