CHOCOLATE BANANA MALTED SHAKE

Make and share this Chocolate Banana Malted Shake recipe from Food.com.

Provided by Ang11002

Categories     Smoothies

Time 8m

Yield 1-2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 very ripe banana, cut into chunks & roughly mashed
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons milk
14 ounces vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon instant malted milk powder (optional)

Steps:

  • Place mashed banana, syrup, milk, ice cream& malted milk powder (if using) in blender.
  • Blend on med-high speed until all ingredients are thoroughly blended and smooth.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The quality of the chocolate you use will directly impact the flavor of your milkshake. Look for a chocolate that is at least 70% cocoa solids and has a rich, creamy flavor.
  • Use malted milk powder: Malted milk powder is what gives chocolate milkshakes their classic flavor. Look for it in the baking section of your grocery store.
  • Use cold milk: Cold milk will help to keep your milkshake thick and creamy. If you use warm milk, your milkshake will be more watery.
  • Don't over-blend: Over-blending your milkshake will make it frothy and less creamy. Blend just until the ingredients are combined and smooth.
  • Add-ins: You can add a variety of mix-ins to your chocolate malt milkshake, such as whipped cream, chopped nuts, or even bacon bits. Get creative and have fun!

Conclusion:

Chocolate malt milkshakes are a classic summertime treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a refreshing and delicious treat, give chocolate malt milkshakes a try!
