2 large eggs
3/4 cup cooked, unseasoned pumpkin puree
1/2 cup ground walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The quality of the chocolate you use will greatly impact the flavor of the squares. Choose a chocolate that is at least 70% cacao for a rich, decadent flavor.
  • Toast the walnuts: Toasting the walnuts will bring out their flavor and make them more fragrant. You can toast them in a pan over medium heat or in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes.
  • Be careful not to overbeat the eggs and sugar: Overbeating the eggs and sugar will make the squares tough. Beat them just until they are light and fluffy.
  • Don't overbake the squares: The squares are done baking when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the squares cool completely before cutting them: This will help them to hold their shape and prevent them from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Chocolate walnut squares are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are rich, decadent, and full of chocolatey goodness. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a batch of these squares that will surely be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat to enjoy, give chocolate walnut squares a try.
