MAMU'S CHUNKY TOMATO BASIL BISQUE SOUP
I experimented and utilized several versions to come up with this recipe. It is widely enjoyed by family and neighbors. I use only Muir Glen tomatoes because they are so rich and thick.

Tips:
- Use fresh, ripe tomatoes: This will give your bisque the best flavor. If you can't find fresh tomatoes, you can use canned tomatoes, but be sure to drain them well and rinse them before using.
- Roast the tomatoes before making the bisque: This will concentrate their flavor and make the bisque more delicious. To roast the tomatoes, simply halve them and toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Then, roast them in a preheated oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, or until they are slightly charred.
- Use a good quality vegetable broth: This will also help to give your bisque a delicious flavor. If you don't have any vegetable broth on hand, you can use water, but be sure to add some salt and pepper to taste.
- Don't overcook the bisque: Overcooked bisque will be thin and watery. Cook it just until the vegetables are tender and the bisque is heated through.
- Serve the bisque with your favorite toppings: Some popular toppings for tomato basil bisque include croutons, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil. You can also serve it with a side of grilled cheese sandwiches or a salad.
Conclusion:
Tomato basil bisque is a delicious and easy-to-make soup that is perfect for a quick and easy meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover tomatoes. With its rich, creamy texture and tangy flavor, tomato basil bisque is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
