This crisp bright-colored snack is more festive than traditional caramel corn. My family just loves it! Set out in pretty bowls, it makes a tasty table decoration. I also put it in sandwich bags for a children's party snack. -Kaye Kemper, Windfall, Indiana

Tips:

  • Use fresh popcorn kernels. Stale kernels will not pop as well and will result in a less flavorful popcorn.
  • Use a large pot or Dutch oven. This will give the popcorn kernels plenty of room to pop.
  • Do not overcrowd the pot. If you overcrowd the pot, the kernels will not pop evenly and you will end up with a lot of unpopped kernels.
  • Use the right amount of oil. Too much oil will make the popcorn greasy, while too little oil will result in dry popcorn.
  • Do not overcook the popcorn. Overcooked popcorn will be tough and chewy.
  • Season the popcorn immediately after it is popped. This will help the seasoning to adhere to the popcorn.
  • Be creative with your toppings. You can use a variety of toppings to flavor your cinnamon candy popcorn, such as chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, and candy.

Cinnamon candy popcorn is a delicious and easy-to-make snack that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a sweet and crunchy treat that everyone will love. So next time you are looking for a sweet snack, give cinnamon candy popcorn a try.
