CITRUS SWEET LEMONADE
This is my dad's favorite juice to make. My dad's lemon tree has been around since before I can remember and he used to always buy oranges in order to make this drink almost every night. I don't know why I waited until now to finally ask him for the recipe. But here it is! Sometimes my dad mixes it up by adding some lime juice. Update: Just a note to myself for future experiments. There is a restaurant here called Tucano's that makes Brazilian Lemonade (lime lemonade). I learned a while ago from a former waitress that the secret ingredient is sweetened condensed milk. So in the future I'll try adding some. (They also offer flavors like Raspberry, Guava, Mango, Pineapple and Strawberry Brazilian Lemonade, so you might want to try other flavors in place of the orange.)

Tips:
- Choose the right lemons: Meyer lemons are the sweetest variety of lemon, making them ideal for lemonade. If you can't find Meyer lemons, regular lemons will work, but you may need to add more sugar or honey to taste.
- Use filtered or spring water: Tap water can contain impurities that can affect the taste of lemonade. If you can, use filtered or spring water instead.
- Sweeten to taste: The amount of sugar or honey you add to lemonade is a matter of personal preference. Start with a small amount and taste-test until you reach the desired sweetness.
- Add some herbs or spices: For a unique twist on classic lemonade, try adding some fresh herbs or spices, such as mint, basil, rosemary, or ginger.
- Make it fizzy: To make sparkling lemonade, add some club soda or seltzer water to taste.
Conclusion:
Lemonade is a refreshing and easy-to-make beverage that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a delicious and thirst-quenching lemonade that is perfect for any occasion. So next time you're looking for a refreshing drink, give lemonade a try!
