COPYCAT OLIVE GARDEN SANGRIA

After many, many glasses of Sangria, the Olive Garden bartender finally caved and gave me the recipe. It has been loved by many.

Categories     Beverages

Time 20m

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 (1 1/2 liter) bottle of riunite lambrusco wine
10 ounces sweet vermouth
12 ounces grenadine
16 ounces cranberry juice
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 cups carbonated lemon-lime beverage
orange, sliced

Steps:

  • First, make the simple syrup by boiling the water and sugar. I usually boil them for about 15-20 minutes while stirring constantly. Allow this to cool to room temperature.
  • Stir the wine, sweet vermouth, grenadine, cranberry juice and simple syrup together. Add a slice of orange to the glass to make it pretty. Then add a splash of 7-Up right before serving.
  • Repeat all night!

Tips:

- For the best flavor, use ripe, juicy watermelon. - If you don't have fresh watermelon, you can use frozen watermelon that has been thawed. - You can use any type of Moscato wine you like, but a sweeter Moscato will make a sweeter sangria. - If you want a less sweet sangria, you can add more club soda or sparkling water. - You can also add other fruits to your sangria, such as strawberries, blueberries, or oranges. - Be sure to chill your sangria for at least 2 hours before serving. - Serve your sangria with a garnish of watermelon, mint leaves, or lemon slices.

Conclusion:

This Olive Garden Watermelon Moscato Sangria is a refreshing and delicious summer drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. So next time you are looking for a fun and festive drink to serve, give this sangria a try!
