1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1 cup cubed fully cooked ham
1/2 cup fresh or frozen corn
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon finely crushed corn chips

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and celery seed until blended. Stir in the ham, corn, cheese and onion. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into four rectangles; seal perforations., Spoon about 1/2 cup ham mixture into the center of each rectangle. Bring edges up to the center and pinch to seal. 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
3/4 cup warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)
1/2 cup shortening
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
4-1/2 to 4-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
FILLING:
1 large onion, finely chopped
5 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cups cubed fully cooked ham, coarsely ground
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled, optional
1/4 to 1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives, optional
1/2 to 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the milk, shortening, eggs, sugar, salt and 2 cups flour; beat until smooth.
