This was originally my daughter's recipe, and she or I will make it for one or more of our holiday get-togethers. It can be served as a fruit salad along with the meal or as a light dessert. It's particularly pretty in a cut-glass bowl on a buffet. -Ruth Bolduc, Conway, New Hampshire

Tips:
- Use fresh cranberries: Fresh cranberries have a brighter flavor and more vibrant color than frozen or canned cranberries.
- Cook the cranberries until they burst: This will help release their pectin and create a thick, jelly-like consistency.
- Add sugar gradually: Add the sugar a little at a time, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches the desired sweetness.
- Don't overcook the cranberry mixture: Overcooking can cause the cranberries to lose their color and flavor.
- Chill the cranberry mixture thoroughly before adding the whipped topping: This will help prevent the whipped topping from melting.
- Use a variety of toppings: In addition to whipped topping, you can also top the cranberry delight with chopped nuts, grated chocolate, or fresh mint.
Conclusion:
Cranberry delight is a delicious and festive dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its bright red color and tangy flavor, cranberry delight is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
