Time 2h50m

Yield 12

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 (7 ounce) packages almond paste
8 ounces sliced almonds
2 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening, or more as needed
2 tablespoons powdered sugar, or to taste
