Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients and utensils ready. This will help you stay organized and prevent any scrambling.
  • Use a large skillet: A large skillet will give the chicken and vegetables plenty of room to cook evenly.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: Feel free to mix and match your favorite vegetables in this recipe. Some good options include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, and bell peppers.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet: If you overcrowd the skillet, the vegetables will not cook evenly and may become soggy.
  • Cook the chicken until it is cooked through: Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add the cream and cheese slowly: Stir the cream and cheese into the skillet gradually, until they are well combined and the sauce has thickened.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately, while the chicken and vegetables are still hot and the sauce is creamy.
