Tips:
- Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling.
- Brown the meatballs first: Browning the meatballs before adding them to the sauce helps to develop their flavor and create a richer sauce. Don't overcrowd the pan when browning the meatballs, or they will steam instead of brown.
- Use a good quality marinara sauce: The marinara sauce is the base of this dish, so it's important to use a good quality sauce. You can make your own or use a store-bought sauce. If you're using a store-bought sauce, look for one that is made with high-quality ingredients and has a rich flavor.
- Simmer the meatballs in the sauce for at least 30 minutes: This will help to infuse the meatballs with the flavor of the sauce. The longer you simmer the meatballs, the more flavorful they will be.
- Serve the meatballs with your favorite sides: Creamy Meatballs and Vegetables is a versatile dish that can be served with a variety of sides. Some popular sides include mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
