Actually, this is an excellent marinade for any steak. The marinade mainly consists of Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. The sugar makes the steaks tender and gives just a hint of sweetness. I sometimes add some Dijon mustard or red pepper flakes for a little zing.

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons kosher salt

  • Grill steaks in 2 batches on an oiled rack set 5 to 6 inches over glowing coals 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally 2 inches into thickest part of meat registers 130°F for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to a platter and let stand 10 minutes.

Tips for Perfect Grilled Rib-Eye Steak:

Choose high-quality steak: Select rib-eye steaks with good marbling and at least 1 inch thick for a flavorful and juicy steak. Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a flavorful marinade helps tenderize the meat and infuse it with delicious flavors. This recipe uses a simple marinade made with olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and herbs. You can also try other marinades such as balsamic vinegar, red wine, or citrus juices. Experiment with different marinades to find your favorite combination. Grill the steak over high heat: Preheat your grill to high heat to sear the steak quickly and create a nice crust. This helps lock in the juices and prevent the steak from drying out. Use a meat thermometer: To ensure the steak is cooked to your desired doneness, use a meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the steak and cook until it reaches the desired internal temperature. Let the steak rest before serving: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.

Conclusion:

Grilled rib-eye steak is a classic dish that is sure to impress your friends and family. With the right marinade and grilling technique, you can create a juicy, flavorful, and tender steak that everyone will love. So fire up your grill and give this recipe a try! Experiment with different marinades and grilling times to find your perfect steak. Enjoy!
