Tips:

  • Use fresh or thawed ground beef. Freshly ground beef will give your meatballs the best flavor and texture. If using frozen ground beef, be sure to thaw it completely before cooking.
  • Don't overmix the meatball mixture. Overmixing will make the meatballs tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Use a large skillet or Dutch oven to cook the meatballs. This will give the meatballs plenty of room to brown and cook evenly.
  • Brown the meatballs in batches. Don't overcrowd the pan, or the meatballs will steam instead of brown.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the meatballs are cooked through. The internal temperature of the meatballs should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce. Swedish meatballs are traditionally served with a cream sauce, but you can also use a tomato sauce or gravy.

Conclusion:

Dale's Swedish meatballs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a meal that your family and friends will love.
