1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef

  • 2. Cover and refrigerate.
  • 3. In another bowl, combine onion, salt, peppers garlic powder and pepper sauce.
  • 4. Add ground beef and mix well.
  • 5. Shape into 6 (1/2in) thick patties.
  • 6. Grill, covered over medium-hot heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • 7. Spoon cheese mixture on top of each burger.
  • 8. Grill until cheese begins to melt.
  • 9. Serve on warm hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato if desired.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the burger will be. Look for fresh, flavorful beef, ripe tomatoes, and crisp lettuce.
  • Don't overcook the burgers. Overcooked burgers are dry and tough. Cook them to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done. The burgers will continue to cook slightly after they're removed from the heat, so it's best to pull them off the grill a little early.
  • Season the burgers liberally. Salt and pepper are essential, but you can also add other seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, or chili powder. Experiment until you find a combination that you like.
  • Use a variety of toppings. The possibilities are endless when it comes to burger toppings. Some popular options include cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and bacon.
  • Serve the burgers on a toasted bun. A toasted bun will help to hold the burger together and add a bit of extra flavor.

Conclusion:

Burgers are a delicious and versatile meal that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With so many different ways to make them, there's sure to be a burger recipe that everyone will love. So fire up the grill and get cooking!
