- 1. Beat eggs and sugar together. Slowly add milk while beating slowly. Add flour, 1/4 cup of dry kool-aid powder, salt and baking powder then beat till nice and creamy. The batter should be bright pink. Add more Kool-Aid powder as desired. Cook in hot vegetable oil for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove when batter is golden brown and crispy. Roll in mixture of the remaining 1/4 cup Kool-Aid powder and the 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Allow to cool a bit before eating so it doesn't burn your mouth. DEEP FRIED KOOL AID BALLS
Correction to the recipe! it is 4 tablespoons of Kool Aid Mix with sugar. I use SPLENDA so I make my own "canisters" 1 pack KOOL AID to one cup SPLENDA. This would be a great idea for a kitchen party with friends, cutting the recipe in half and make a lot of different flavors.
