Steps:
- 1. This can be made with Your own dough recipe. I buy dough balls for convenience.Thaw let rise under cloth. Spread pizza dough out on 14-16 inch pizza pan. Spread bottom with garlic butter. I Make with butter, grated garlic, garlic powder, s&p and in this case dillweed. Drizzle with garlic oil. Sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning over whole pizza crust included, for extra flavor. Optional. I use this seasoning for a lot of My pizza doughs.
- 2. Next step is Your cheese. I use a shredded mozzarella. I'm generous with the cheese. Top with patted dry pickle slices & Onion slices if using.. I usually have the pickles touching, in this case I was in a hurry. But highly suggest the more the better!
- 3. Top with a bit of parmesan cheese and dill weed. Bake in 500 degree oven for 7-8 min. Remove add fresh dill and more parm if You wish. Cut in 8ths. Enjoy!
Tips:
- Fresh Dill: Use fresh dill for optimal flavor. Dried dill can be used, but it won't be as flavorful.
- Pickle Brine: Don't discard the pickle brine! It adds a unique flavor and tanginess to the pizza dough.
- Cheese Choices: You can use any type of cheese you like, but mozzarella and cheddar are classic choices for pizza.
- Pickles: Use your favorite type of pickles. Dill pickles are the traditional choice, but sweet pickles or bread and butter pickles can also be used.
- Cooking Temperature: Bake the pizza at a high temperature to get a crispy crust and melted cheese.
Conclusion:
Dill pickle pizza is a fun and unique twist on the classic pizza recipe. It's packed with flavor and sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering. So grab your favorite dill pickles and get ready to make this delicious pizza!
