1 box Jell-O Orange Gelatin
1 box Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
1 can mandarin oranges
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Mix gelatin mix with 1 cup boiling water till dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water plus 3 ice cubes and stir into the hot gelatin mix. Set aside 5 minutes to cool.
  • Add the instant pudding to the gelatin mixture, stir for about 2 minutes and then let set for approximately 15 minutes to thicken. Fold in the mandarin oranges and Cool Whip.
  • Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes or can be frozen for a more ice cream like dessert.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
¾ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange extract
2 drops yellow food coloring
1 drop red food coloring
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Beat cream cheese and sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy; add eggs and beat well. Beat sour cream and vanilla extract into cream cheese mixture until batter is smooth.
  • Transfer one cup of the cream cheese mixture to a small bowl and stir in orange extract, yellow food coloring, and red food coloring until batter is smooth and orange.
  • Pour uncolored batter into prepared graham cracker crust. Drop spoonfuls of orange batter over the top of the uncolored batter and run a knife through the orange batter to create a marbled effect.

10 Hostess Twinkies, halved lengthwise
1 (3 ounce) package orange Jell-O
1/2 cup boiling water
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup french vanilla liquid coffee creamer
1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Arrange the Twinkies cut side up in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the Jell-O and boiling water.
  • When Jell-O is dissolved, put the mixture in the refrigerator to cool for 10 minutes.
  • To hasten the process, drop in an ice cube -the extra liquid won't hurt anything.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the pudding mix, milk and coffee creamer for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Add the orange Jell-O mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until smooth.

Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for drop cookies
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 boxes (3 oz each) Jell-O® orange-flavored gelatin
1/3 cup boiling water
2 boxes (3.4 oz each) Jell-O® vanilla-flavor instant pudding & pie filling mix
2 1/2 cups cold milk
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 container (12 oz) Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup canned mandarin orange segments, drained

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Make and bake drop cookies as directed on pouch. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • In food processor, process half of the cookies to coarse crumbs. Remove to medium bowl. Continue to process remaining cookies to coarse crumbs; add to bowl. Stir in melted butter until well blended. In ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, press cookie crumb mixture firmly in bottom. Set aside.
  • In small bowl, place gelatin, and add boiling water; beat with whisk until blended. Stir occasionally about 2 minutes or until mostly dissolved.   • In large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, scraping down side of bowl frequently. Beat in 2 cups of the whipped topping. Spread over cookie crust.
  • Pour pudding mixture over cream cheese layer; spread evenly over top. Drop remaining whipped topping by spoonfuls over pudding layer; carefully spread until even. Refrigerate 5 hours.
