Tips for Making the Best Baked Beans

1. Use dried beans: Dried beans are more flavorful and have a better texture than canned beans. Bacon or ham: The saltiness and smokiness of bacon or ham adds a delicious depth of flavor to the beans. 2. Use a variety of beans: Using a variety of beans, such as navy beans, pinto beans, and kidney beans, creates a more interesting flavor and texture. 3. Season well: Baked beans need a good amount of seasoning to bring out their flavor. Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and your favorite herbs and spices. 4. Cook low and slow: Cooking the beans low and slow allows them to develop their full flavor and become tender. 5. Use a variety of liquids: Using a variety of liquids, such as water, broth, and molasses, creates a more complex flavor. 6.
