EASY CHEESY PASTA POT
I couldn't think of anything I wanted on a cold winter day. I was all by myself so this comfort food was made for only 1 person. Feel free to pick the frozen veggies that you like. I like crunch so added some French's Fried Onions. It definately hit the spot (a very generous serving). I think I will try an expanded version for the family soon.

Pour 3 cups of water over the top, add in snipped green beans and quick cook pasta, turn heat to high. Set timer, and cook for 10 minutes. At the end of 10 minutes, pour Bertolli sauce over the top, and stir in. Let simmer 2-3 more minutes. Top with cheese, and put in in the oven to broil until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve. NOTES If you can't find the Pronto or quick cook pasta, then just cook your pasta according to package directions, and remove water from the ingredient list. Steps:
- Cook the shells al dente then drain the water. While the shells are boiling, brown the beef until no longer pink, drain excess grease.
- Add the spaghetti sauce to the meat then simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Mix the sour cream, whipping cream, & parmesan cheese in with the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the shells then stir to coat. Add the shredded cheese & stir until melted. Serve hot.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the pasta will taste. Use fresh, high-quality cheese, pasta, and vegetables.
- Cook the pasta al dente: Al dente means "to the tooth" in Italian. It refers to the texture of pasta that is cooked through but still has a slight bite to it. This is the ideal texture for pasta dishes.
- Don't overcrowd the pot: When cooking pasta, don't overcrowd the pot. This will prevent the pasta from cooking evenly.
- Season the pasta water: Add salt to the pasta water before cooking the pasta. This will help to flavor the pasta.
- Save some pasta water: When draining the pasta, reserve some of the pasta water. This can be used to thin out the sauce or to add moisture to the pasta.
- Use a variety of cheeses: Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of cheeses. A combination of cheeses can create a more complex and flavorful sauce.
- Add vegetables: Vegetables can add flavor, color, and nutrients to your pasta dish. Try adding roasted vegetables, sautéed vegetables, or fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately: Pasta is best served immediately after it is cooked. This will prevent the pasta from becoming soggy.
Conclusion:
These are just a few tips for making delicious and easy cheesy pasta. With a little practice, you'll be able to create your own favorite recipes. So get creative and enjoy!
