Time 2h10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 pkg tator tots
1 jar(s) roasted turkey gravy
seasoned salt with no msg to taste
pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Prep a 9x11 baking dish with caneola or Olive oil spray. Preheat oven to 325*f, allowing 10 minutes to preheat. Add tots to the bottom of the pan and place chicken breasts oven the tots, allowing space between. Lightly season breasts and pepper tots to taste. Mix gravy with a half jar of warm water and pour over the tots and chicken. Wrap with aluminum foil and place in oven. Make sure foil is tightly wrapped to keep all the moisture in the pan, not in the oven to evaporate. This dish cooks long and slow for tender chicken and the tots to absorb the flavor of the chicken. I serve with brussel sprouts and my husband does not leave his plate without a smile and a full tummy!

EASY COMPANY CHICKEN

I love apricots and chicken, so this is one of my favorites.

Provided by Dori Rominger

Categories     Chicken

Time 1h30m

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 pieces chicken
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste
1 bottle russian salad dressing
1 pkg onion soup mix
1/2 c water
1 jar(s) apricot jam

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together except chicken. Spread sauce over chicken in a baking dish. Bake for 1-½ hours at 375?.

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all the ingredients and equipment you need. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling later on.
  • Use a Large Skillet: A large skillet will give the chicken more room to brown and cook evenly.
  • Don't Crowd the Skillet: When you add the chicken to the skillet, make sure to give it enough space so that it can brown properly. If you crowd the skillet, the chicken will steam instead of brown.
  • Use a Meat Thermometer: The best way to ensure that the chicken is cooked through is to use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit before you remove it from the skillet.
  • Let the Chicken Rest: Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before you serve it. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Company Chicken is a classic dish that is easy to make and always a hit with guests. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a delicious and memorable meal that everyone will enjoy. If you are looking for a flavorful and easy-to-make chicken dish, Company Chicken is a great option. It is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
