MARINATED GRILLED SHRIMP

Marinated Grilled Shrimp image

A very simple and easy marinade that makes your shrimp so yummy you don't even need cocktail sauce! Don't let the cayenne pepper scare you, you don't even taste it. My 2 and 4 year-olds love it and eat more shrimp than their parents! It is also a big hit with company, and easy to prepare. I make this with frozen or fresh shrimp and use my indoor electric grill if the weather is not good for outside grilling. Try it with a salad, baked potato, and garlic bread. You will not be disappointed!!!

  • Marinate the shrimp for at least 30 minutes: This will help the shrimp to absorb the flavors of the marinade and make them more tender.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: There are many different marinade recipes to choose from. Some popular options include olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, herbs, and spices.
  • Skewer the shrimp: Skewering the shrimp will make them easier to grill and prevent them from falling through the grates.
  • Grill the shrimp over medium-high heat: This will help to cook the shrimp quickly and evenly.
  • Don't overcook the shrimp: Overcooked shrimp are tough and rubbery. Cook the shrimp until they are just opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve the shrimp immediately: Grilled shrimp are best served immediately, while they are still hot and juicy.
