Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and utensils ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling around while you're cooking.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: The fresher your ingredients are, the better your dish will taste. If possible, use organic, locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Don't Overcook the Chicken: Chicken is a lean meat, so it's important to cook it quickly over high heat. Overcooking will make the chicken dry and tough.
  • Make Sure the Sauce is Thick and Sticky: The teriyaki sauce should be thick and sticky, so it will coat the chicken and rice perfectly. If the sauce is too thin, add a little cornstarch or arrowroot powder to thicken it up.
  • Serve with Your Favorite Sides: Teriyaki chicken and brown rice can be served with a variety of sides, such as steamed vegetables, roasted sweet potatoes, or a simple green salad.

Conclusion:

This easy teriyaki chicken and brown rice dinner is a delicious and healthy weeknight meal that the whole family will love. It's quick and easy to make, and it's packed with flavor.
