4 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Heat a large saucepan of salted water to a boil; add green beans and cook just until slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Mix green beans and cream of mushroom soup together in a bowl; spread into an 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over green been mixture and top with French-fried onions.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and browned, about 30 minutes.

1 (16 ounce) package frozen whole green beans, thawed
4 slices bacon
½ medium onion, chopped
½ red bell pepper, seeded and diced
¼ cup dry white wine or vermouth
¼ cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup canned French fried onions

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Fry bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, crumble, and set aside. Drain most of the bacon grease from the pan, and place over medium heat. Add the onions and bell pepper; cook and stir until tender. Stir in the wine, scraping all of the bits of bacon from the bottom of the pan.
  • Mix in the butter, milk, soup, and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the green beans and bacon until evenly coated. Fold in cheese, then transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with French fried onions.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until heated through, and sauce is bubbly.

1 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1/2 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen French-style green beans, thawed and drained
1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a skillet, saute red pepper and onion in butter until tender. Add soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce; stir until smooth. Stir in beans and water chestnuts. , Transfer to an ungreased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 minutes or until heated through.

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed and cut into thirds or halves depending on the size
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
8 ounces baby bella mushrooms, sliced
1 shallot, sliced into rings
One 5.2-ounce container garlic and herb soft cheese, such as Boursin
1/2 cup fried onions

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Fill a bowl with ice water and set aside.
  • Add the green beans to the boiling water and cook until bright green and tender-crisp, about 4 minutes. Transfer the green beans to the ice bath to stop the cooking. Drain the beans and add them to a mixing bowl.
  • Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is shimmering, add the mushrooms, shallot, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Add the cheese and stir to melt. Turn the heat off and add the mixture to the bowl with the green beans. Toss until everything is creamy and thoroughly combined. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Toss to combine. Top with the fried onions. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate until ready to serve.

1 can Rotel Tomatoes, drained
12 ounces Cheez Whiz
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup milk
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions
salt & pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients- reserving 1/2 c of french fried onions- stir well and pour into buttered casserole dish.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350, sprinkle on reserved onions and bake 5 more minutes.
  • Serve warm.
