Tips:
- Use fresh, ripe bell peppers for the best flavor. Different colors of peppers will give your sauce different flavor profiles. For example, red bell peppers are sweet and mild, while green bell peppers are more tart and grassy.
- Roast the bell peppers before using them in the sauce. Roasting brings out their natural sweetness and smokiness.
- Use a good quality olive oil. This will help to give your sauce a rich, flavorful base.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different herbs and spices. Fresh basil, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes are all great additions to this sauce.
