Tips:

  • Use ripe applesauce: Ripe applesauce adds a natural sweetness and moisture to the muffins, making them extra delicious. If you don't have ripe applesauce on hand, you can easily make your own by simmering peeled and diced apples with a little water and cinnamon until softened.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in tough muffins. Mix the ingredients just until combined, then stop.
  • Fill the muffin cups evenly: To ensure that the muffins bake evenly, fill each muffin cup with the same amount of batter.
  • Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This is the best way to tell if the muffins are done baking. If the toothpick comes out with wet batter attached, the muffins need to bake for a few minutes longer.
  • Let the muffins cool before serving: This will give the muffins time to set and develop their full flavor.

Conclusion:

Fiber One applesauce muffins are a delicious and healthy snack or breakfast option. They're made with whole wheat flour, oats, and applesauce, so they're packed with fiber and nutrients. Plus, they're low in calories and fat, making them a great choice for those watching their weight.
