1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1 beef flank steak (1 pound)
1 cup cubed fresh pineapple
1/2 cup salsa verde
1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
1 green onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro

  • In a shallow dish, combine the pineapple juice, lime juice, garlic salt and cumin. Score the surface of the beef, making diamond shapes 1/4 in. deep; place in dish and turn to coat. 1/2 cup canola oil, plus more for the grill
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Few dashes of Worcestershire sauce
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 pounds flank steak

Steps:

  • Make the marinade: Combine the canola oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, oregano, parsley, rosemary and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor; season with salt and pepper. Pulse until the garlic and herbs are incorporated in the oil.
